Get The UK Record Shops App on Your Device
UK Record Shops works just like an app! You can add it to your home screen or desktop for quick, easy access. Choose your device below and follow the steps.
For iPhone & iPad (iOS)
Open Safari and go to recordshop.directory
(App installation only works in Safari on iOS)Tap the Share button
(Square icon with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen)Scroll down and select Add to Home Screen
Rename it if you like, then tap Add
That’s it! The UK Record Shops app icon will appear on your home screen.
For Android Phones & Tablets
Open Chrome and go to recordshop.directory
Tap the Menu (three dots ⋮) This is usually top-right, though on some phones it sits at the bottom-right instead
Tap Add to Home screen or Install app
Confirm by tapping Add (or Install)
If you’re using Samsung Internet (the default browser on most Samsung phones):
- Go to recordshop.directory
- Tap the three horizontal lines (☰) at the bottom-right of the screen
- Tap Add page to, then Home screen
- Confirm by tapping Add
Can’t see any menu button at all? The browser bar hides itself when you scroll down a page. Scroll right back to the top and it will reappear.
Done! You’ll find UK Record Shops on your home screen like any other app.
Already got it? If your Chrome menu says “Open UK Record Shops” instead of offering to install, you’ve already added it. Swipe up to your app drawer and search “UK Record” to find the icon.
For Desktop – Chrome (Mac & Windows)
Open Chrome and go to recordshop.directory
Look for the Install icon in the address bar
(A little computer screen with a down arrow, right side of the address bar)If you don’t see the icon, click the three dots menu (top right) and look for Install UK Record Shops…
Click Install or Add
Now, UK Record Shops will launch in its own window and you’ll find it in your desktop apps or Start menu/Dock.
