As the name of the shop suggests, this is one of the best spots in Bristol if music that grooves is your thing. An exceptionally well-chosen selection of jazz, funk, soul, world music, etc. both new and used.
Nestled at the rear of the store, there’s a nice collection of records. Plenty in my sweet spot of classics like the Stones, Zeppelin, The Who etc, but also plenty of modern stuff extending to Taylor Swift and beyond. Everything is carefully priced so there aren’t any crate-digging bargains to be found from under-priced items, but equally it’s all fairly priced against other outlets. The gentleman at the till was exactly what you’d want - knowledgable, funny and slightly sassy. I am not sure he was 100% honest when he said Taylor Swift comes in every Saturday, but equally he looked very trustworthy!!!!
Superb record shop in Bristol for all of your music needs, from equipment, stylus etc, speakers, cables everything you might need. Fantastic selection of new and used vinyl, across all genres, with a lot of jazz too. My friend and I bagged some great finds and we're very pleased. Super nice guy that was there on the Sunday afternoon we visited. Very cool shop, go there!!
1st class independent record store, nice big selection of jazz, funk, soul, world, hip-hop, rock and classics, new and old, they’ve got some great rarities also. Nice place for a dig and always a warm welcome and valued recommendations.
This is one of my 3 favourite record shops in Bristol and they are all along the Gloucester Road. Here both Dean and Gordon will help you out whether you're buying or selling. It has to be said though that they are more keen on Jazz, Funk and Blues. They also do well with new vinyl releases rather than secondhand (Mike at Psycho has a bigger selection). Always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, thanks guys!
