Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Tremendous selection for a small shop. New releases, general used as well as a whole bunch of "grails". Something for everyone here and as well, it is a beautiful part of the city with lots of great food and beverage offerings .

What an absolute joke. Today was Record Store Day and this shop completely messed it up. They posted that they had “enough” Taylor Swift vinyl. I even messaged and called ahead to make sure — they confirmed it. So I chose this store and queued up early. I entered the shop right as they opened at 8:00 AM — and guess what? Nothing. When I asked, one of the staff — the only polite one, to be fair — went to check with someone else. But that second guy? Rude, uninterested, and clearly couldn’t be bothered. He didn’t even pretend to check. Just lazily waved his hand, said “sold out” like it was obvious, and threw in a “shoo” gesture like I was wasting his time. No apology, no eye contact, no basic customer service. Just attitude. For a day that’s supposed to celebrate music fans, their customer service was abysmal. Zero communication, zero care, and a total lack of respect for people who got up early and waited in line based on their word. If you’re going to post and confirm that you have enough stock, at least have the decency to manage it properly — or at the very least, treat people decently when things run out. Thankfully, I ran to Assai straight after and actually managed to get it there. If I hadn’t moved fast, I would’ve missed out completely — all thanks to this store’s poor planning and even worse attitude. Definitely won’t be back!!

No effort to explain, no apology, just a complete lack of respect. Terrible customer service. I won’t be back. Luckily, I managed to get my vinyl from Assai — otherwise I would’ve missed the chance entirely. I’ll definitely never come back.

Nice vinyl shop. Interesting collection of used vinyl. We were there the end of the working day and the girl at the counter was a bit bored already.

Was in Edinburgh earlier this month and visited by recommendation Stockbridge area . Found Voxbox vinyl shop in St Stephen street. Met Darren on arrival very friendly and chatty got some vinyl from him will definitely check out Edinburgh and Stockbridge area again .
