Paid a first visit here this afternoon and it's a genuine treasure trove of a place. Very strong selection of quality new and used vinyl and critically for me - an actual range of Blues records to pick from. Very well priced and just enjoyable all round. It sounds like there are new records arriving all the time, so I'll be a regular here.
Orange man! That is the theme and the tote bags are ace. The shop has a wide variety of rare and common with handy subsections...If you go to say Jethro Tull, youll find Janice Joplin John Mayall etc in there, so keep digging. Obscurities abound and priced very nicely . Lots of ephemera and memorabilia. Nice service, helpful, their bag will stay with me.
The vinyl is well organised and labelled making it easy and enjoyable to browse. There is clear info about the quality of what you are buying on the packaging. The owner is great - happy to chat or leave you to it if you prefer. I really enjoyed shopping here today.
Rude owner, not interested and thinks he knows it all. I like records but this guy thinks he's special rubbish shop the other record store two seconds away in the cross keys is far more inviting and less stuffy, rubbish.
Try and pay a visit atleast once a month from glorious swindon. Great range of records and at a good price. Very friendly service. My daughter pretty much cleared out the soft cell/marc almond section!! Mind you that was a few months ago.
