I rang ahead to ask if they stocked a record brush - to my immense joy I was informed that they did, and when I turned up in person to buy one the gentleman behind the counter was very helpful and gave me a choice of two different kinds. If you’re in Lancashire and after a record cleaning brush this is the shop you’re after, trust me, I checked my local stores and they were clean out of stock! There’s a brilliant selection of new records with plenty of variety, and while I usually buy second hand (99% of my collection predates me) I appreciated the very reasonable prices on these newer records. Everything’s very well arranged and the shop is light and airy, making it easy to browse. Some gorgeous guitars hung up too, which I was highly tempted to test out! Second-hand records abound as well, my dad looked through these and found a few good songs, but I ended up coming away with a Bowie record I had been after for a while (I was eying ‘The Masterplan’ by Oasis… it was a close call). The Ziggy Stardust album was cheaper than any other new copies I’ve seen, so that had to come home with me! It’s had a good few play throughs already. I was told to follow the instructions on the back of the album - who am I to disobey? I’ll instil a great taste in music in the neighbours, they’ll surely thank me later! I’ll definitely be back soon, and I’ll recommend this store to a record-collecting friend or two. Thank you for helping me avoid extortionate delivery charges on a brush I’d otherwise have had to order online!
First class friendly service from people who are passionate and knowledgeable about music. Good stock of new releases and pre-loved items making for a good browsing experience. There is a reasonable turnover of both new and secondhand stock meaning there is always something of interest. Definitely a good place for record collectors.
Work brings me to Clitheroe every now and then , which is fortunate as I get the opportunity to browse the stock in this great shop . Nice selection of used and new , friendly atmosphere, I generally find something that comes home with me .
Great little independent record shop, lots of signed Albums new and old
Popped in for a gander to walk off a meal and came out five records heavier! Smashing little record shop, Great selection of new and used Records and CD's. The "Digital Compact Disc" branded display racking brought back fond memories. Reasonable prices and excellent choice. Will certainly be back!
