Been coming here since the day it opened and you'd struggle to find a better record shop. Fantastic prices, always in great condition, and a wide variety. The owner, Alan, is great and can find you pretty much anything you want. Can't recommend enough
Been visiting Alan's shop for about a year now, always something new on view when you visit or if you ask for something not necessarily on show he can often pull out some gems from his vast stock of music related stock. Check out his items of retro hifi, some great pieces and reasonably priced. And now a train runs from Newcastle to Ashington calling at other stations on its way. So, rather than drive, jump on the train, then a short walk to the shop and delve into his amazing and wide collection of Vinyl!

Fabulous shop full of music memorabilia, t-shirts, CDs and an excellent choice of used,but in very good condition, vinyl records at realistic prices. The owner was very friendly and had time for a chat. There was also somewhere for my 'vinyl widow' to sit whilst I browsed the multiple crates of records. I also received a discount as I purchased quite a few records. I will definitely be returning next time I'm in Ashington. Great shop to have a look round especially if your into vinyl records and music memorabilia.
Amazing record shop which sells a range of physical media, scaling from vinyl, cassettes, cds, dvds and more! In addition, the shop sells a range of hi-fi systems, posters and even clothing, providing something for everyone. The owner was super welcoming, helping me find some pieces I had been wanting to add to my collection for a while with him even going to the back of his store to bring me even more stock! Ended up leaving with three original Kate Bush pressings, all in excellent condition especially given them all being around 40+ years old with none of them skipping, all for an amazing price! Will definitely be back soon and would recommend to anyone! 10/10 shop and service :)
