The Vinyl Curtain

Went digging and found 6 dope Breaks records in this lovely shop and had a nice chat with the owner. Great Guy, discovered he’s Billy Nasty a DJ with a crazy amount of gigs in the Netherlands and all over the World. We found out we danced on some of his bangin sets. Unfortunately didn’t have the time to dive into other genre’s house and techno etc. which he had a lot of and forgot to ask if he perhaps had 2 of the tortured (his own bangin techno label) releases on my discogs wantlist . When checking Discogs I discovered at least one of them…. Will definitely return to the shop when visiting Brighton ❤️ blessings !

One for real crate diggers. You'll be hard pressed to find a better record shop that captures the essence of digging through music at your own pace. One of those lovely places where you can lose yourself finding new music, getting pointers for stuff you may never have heard. A real gem and gentleman who runs the place

Heard from a different record shop owner that this is THE place to check out for second-hand, underground records. But was somehow closed at 4:30 pm when Google indicates that it should be open until 7 pm. Was pretty bummed out :(

Was recommended this place by another vinyl dj,great selection of all genres. The owner was really knowledgeable and super helpful. I didnt feel rushed or pressured to buy . Would highly recommend and visit again

So friendly. I have parted with a few well earned pounds now when heading home. Be sure to get a stool to rummage through the under counter bins. And if you wanna spin a record. You can!
