I have recently take up learning of the acoustic guitar and was having an issue with some vibration from the guitar. I searched for local music shops and found The Shire Music Co which is literally around the corner from me. I was warmly welcomed by Aaron and Elvira who were so informative and helpful. They changed my strings after giving me some advice and also rectified the vibration issue with a little trick of the trade. I know where I’ll be visiting for my belated birthday present from my wife as there were some fantastic guitars in there. Aaron and Elvira also have some great ideas for the space they have and who knows, one day if I get half decent a jam session there would be awesome. A+ service. Thanks guys.

Took delivery of my stunning Epiphone Les Paul from these guys a week or so ago, perfectly as described online, totally as new and the guitar had been set up by Aaron and is a peach to play, I just love its retro vibe. Thanks so much, you made a middle aged guy very happy! Pete in Plymouth

Took my electric guitar to Aaron at The Shire to have it cleaned and reset up ( first proper service in 15 years!!), what a fantastic job looks, feels and plays like a new guitar. Great little music shop. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Great stock but what they didn't have in stock they were happy to order in if needed.

Rare to find a record shop these days with such affordable prices! We went into the shop looking for a specific record and they went above and beyond to not only find it but give us a great price on it too! Did not disappoint, we will definitely be coming back.
