So I dropped of some vinyls for a valuation on Saturday and I was informed that the person who would be valuing them wasn't going to be in until the Monday. Monday came and I received a phone call and it was lower than I expected I don't know whether it's a fair value or not so that is what it is I said I'll think about it. Tuesday came I received a phone call and he was rude and said I'm not running a storage facility are you getting them or what. I explained I was hoping to go down but other personal things came up. I'll collect them tomorrow " Wednesday" . Again on Wednesday my child had an issue with school and I had to have him at home and was unable to collect again. He rang and I attempted to explain and he replied with I don't care about your personal issues I'm not a storage facility he was very aggressive in his manner. I swore at him at this point as he was rude it escalated at that point and he hung up. I went to collect the vinyl and he again was rude and unprofessional. If I could give lower than one star I would. Very rude and aggressive.
Tony's Rock and Pop shop in Hyde is a little gem, always has a great stock of vinyl, cds, t-shirts at fantastic prices, I always try to support local businesses and Tony is such a great guy and so knowledgeable about music, forget shopping online, pay him a visit, im sure he will have something you'll want!
Everytime I go to Hyde I always visit the rock & pop shop,Tony,Caroline & Denise are so friendly,I could chat with Tony all day about music,they have such a big collection & I never go home empty handed,the prices are cheaper than most so it's a great place to buy Vinyl,CDs or dvds,t-shirts etc.
What an Aladdin's Cave of Rock and Pop through the ages , great atmosphere and extremely friendly and helpful Staff , boy do they know their stuff ! ! , music to cater for all tastes and , in my humble opinion, most era's . So if you love music and especially love vinyls, Pop to Hyde and have a gander , oh and not forgetting T- Shirts and Hoodies
