This is an old church that is currently being leased out (antique store). I have to admit that I went in for the stained glass, artifacts and architecture. You will still see much of that as it was left as it was. This is a medieval church that dates back to the 14th Century. The one mural you can’t miss is the large painting of St George and the dragon. There are other items scattered around that show the history of the church between the sale booths. I did stop and look at some of the consignment booths. If I didn’t have to fly back to the States, I would have made some purchases. The prices are reasonable in my perspective from what I have seen in similar shops at home. The owner was kind enough to let me do this and had a great personality when we spoke for a short time. If I end up coming back, I may get a trinket or two and hope for the best.
Such a fantastic place! This antique shop is a quirky thing to do in Norwich because it is located in a unusual place : an old church. The place is beautiful and you can find many antiques from different era with all kind of pricing. I was happy to find the oil lamp of my dream for no more than £15. Keep in mind that you have to search and closely because there are so many objets everywhere. If you love old stuff like me, I bet you'll find something!
Great antiques and secondhand goods in this old church. Always so much to browse through, I could (and often do) spend hours in here. There's clothes, fabric, haberdashery, collectibles, swords, jewellery, crates, nerdy stuff, homeware, some furniture... this place has it all.
This place is so cool, so much to see and look at. They have now opened the cript up as well which i had to look in and it didnt disappoint. Lovely place - i would come here if i wanted to decorate a house as they have such reasonably priced items. A great aladins cave.
A quite impressive selection of antiques, in a quite stunning old church. Anything you can think of and much more it can be found in this place. Very friendly knowledgeable staff. Pop in to get a nice antique or to take a trip to memory lane ❤️
