An absolutely wonderful record shop based in East Belfast. Marion is a friendly and an extremely knowledgeable owner with a clear passion for music. Set within the Banana Block complex, Sound Advice caters for all music tastes, host dj nights and other events too. This is my go to place every week!! Mostly new vinyl selection with 2nd hand stuff arriving all the time too. A great selection, with stuff you never knew existed or that you even wanted before you went in!! But by the time you leave you have ended up wanting it and buying it. Can't recommend this place more. Now an institution in Belfast. Go there!!
What a spot! I always come away with a gem after having a dig through the top class second hand vinyl. Always a spectacular choice of jazz, and electronic. Lots of great magazines too. Marion is super cool and a font of knowledge. I just keep going back every time she posts new finds on the Sound Advice Instagram. This record store is now a Belfast institution!
The perfect place with a great selection. Marion is one of the best local dj’s with great knowledge and is always happy to help you find what you’re looking for. Got some really nice books and magazines as well as a great variety of records in a really cool environment
I found Marion easy to deal with. Very honest and tuned in to her clientele.
Excellent record store, cannot wait to get back to Belfast to visit again. Excellent selection of music across all styles, with a laid back vibe. If I didn't have to leave to catch a train I'd still be in there now listening away Marion has set it up very well, relaxed vibes inside and you can have a drink and relax on the sofas, while being serenaded by carefully curated choons A gem for vinyl heads and Belfast as a whole Well done to all at Sound Advice
