Rooster Records began trading in early December 1995, originally based in Taunton, Somerset, where it built a loyal customer base and operated successfully until late 2007. Due to a significant increase in stock and the need for more space, the business relocated to larger premises in Exeter, Devon, opening there in November 2006, where it continues to operate successfully.

Reviews
Jaimie took away a lot of the stress of having to get rid of my late brother's collections. He was helpful, reliable and fair in his dealings. It was nice to find someone who kept in touch when they said they would. I would definitely recommend him to anyone else who finds themselves in this situation. Susan Lenton
Stopped off at Rooster Records on a trip to Exeter and really pleased to find a pristine copy of a Yes album I've been after for awhile for a very fair price. The owner was very knowledgeable and so nice to find a shop not in the game of ripping off vinyl buyers. Highly recommended.
Great shop. Small with lots to chose from ..Owner is a very nice guy..there is parking around tue corner..
Jamie's a good guy, his stock is well described, clean and looked after, and hes not greedy like other local vinyl dealers. Well recommended..... AuntyGreg.
First time visit to Rooster and a great find in Exeter. Plenty to browse. Make a visit when you can!
