First visit today and was really impressed with the selection of second hand vinyl to flick through. I really don't understand the couple of other reviews that say it's expensive, as it certainly is not. I bought 6 pre-owned albums and they ranged from £8 to £12 each, obviously all cleaned and prepared for sale, so I'd say that's really good value. I also bought one new re-issue at £32.99, but that's pretty much the same price everywhere and was cheaper than HMV online, plus I'd rather give my money to a local independent shop.... I will certainly be visiting again. Keep up the great work...
Shopping at Rival Records is a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Whether I'm looking for a particular album, something genre-specific, or fancy 'discovering' something new, there's always a wealth of information, patience and enthusiasm at Rival Records. There's never any pressure to buy which, of course, makes me want to buy more! A wonderful experience.

I used to visit Rival when they had a shop in Plymouth back in the 90s so was really excited to see they were coming back and so local too. Try and pop in once or twice a month and am never disappointed with the selection or service even if my bank balance takes a bit of a hit
