Small independent record store run by one of the guys from Sundown Records. New and used vinyl at competitive prices. 7" 12" and cd are also available. Staff friendly and very helpful. Worth a visit
Travelled to the stall today before 2pm (closing time on door is different to website) and was closed. Disappointed as I’d read some reviews and was looking forward to browsing. Through the grills of the store I could see a half price Tears For Fears album, I would’ve bought. So a bad review and loss of sales….
Firstly, I am not related to, not do I know the staff - just my humble opinion. I'd like to say: in this 'digital' age, it is nice to go to a record shop to buy vinyl safe in the knowledge that people appreciate your custom and can help you find exactly what you want. As a first time customer, I'd like to thank Dave & team for getting me exactly what I was after. Great service, knowledgeable staff - can't ask for more. I'm more than happy to give them repeat business and if you are after anything obscure or hard to find - give them a go. Nothing but praise - happy customer and will definitely shop there again. Outstanding shop with fantastic new and used vinyl available. Very fair on price and often have great deals on. Guys are happy to help you find what you want, order stuff in for you, recommend new stuff, advise on looking after records and generally spend time chatting to you. The brilliant record shop Walsall has so badly needed since the glorious Sundown Records closed in 2005.
This has got to be one of my favourite shops. I am a big advocate of supporting your independent record shops. Yes I regularly venture into charity shops the internet and various other outlays where you can pick up vinyls cheaper. However I always make a point of buying this store due to the brilliant service and extensive catalogue. The owners Dave and Chun are really nice guys and have put themselves out for me in the past. I always follow their Facebook page which is regularly updated with incoming stock. I enjoy the fact that the shop creates a family of enthusiastic customers who are genuinely into vinyl. The owners will even put vinyls aside as long as you don’t mess them about which is acceptable a must for true vinyl collectors 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.As I write this I’m in the process of collecting another album
