Red Rock Records

A terrible shop. Has to be the worst record shop I have ever been in! The man in there was ridiculously rude, and seemed as though he was making out we were going to steal something! The shop was creepy and incredibly unorganised - there was just stuff everywhere, it was all over the floor piled up in a big mess, the records were really hard to look through, and the stairs were steep, narrow, and had carpet coming off! None of the lights were turned on, so we could barely even see what the records were! It wasn’t just records though, there were loads of DVDs, VHS tapes and posters in such disorderly piles that you couldn’t see what they were! It’s really a health and safety risk, I think if you pulled 1 VHS out, 200 more would cascade off of the shelf and onto your head! The posters were also greatly unorganised, it appeared as though they had all just been thrown into a big box in a disorderly way which didn’t even allow you to see what they were! They were in a dark corner in a box that you could barely move them in and they weren’t even all the same way round, some were back to front and you had to get them out to see them, and none of them were any good anyway! I don’t recommend this terrible shop at all. Edit; Response to your reply: There is no excuse for being rude to people who are coming into your shop to spend money! You didn’t even greet us when we came in, in every other record shop I have ever been in, and I’ve been in a lot of record shops, they usually greet you when you enter and speak to you, you did not say a word, you just glared at us the whole time! Oh and also, in response to the “other reviewer” who called me “lazy”, well, if that is so, how come I took the time to write a review? If I was “lazy” I would have let it go. It’s not too great when you’re trying to look through records and you have VHS tapes nearly falling on your head and you’re having to take out loads of records just to get to them! Besides, I wouldn’t have had a problem with the unorganised shop if the staff had been friendly, but I got no greeting, I went in with a smile on my face ready to talk to him about music, and he didn’t say a word to us, no hello or anything, then told us very rudely and abruptly to “get out of his way” with no please or thank you when we did “get out of his way” and he just stood and glared at us the whole time. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but that is no excuse to take it out on potential customers who have come in your shop to spend money!

I've been a regular here for a long time now. I've found all sorts of good stuff in here. Prices are very reasonable compared to some other record shops, and the gentleman here has a massive selection. He's helpful and professional, and he is really generous with the hours he keeps the shop open compared to a lot of others in the area. I respect the dedication. Ignore that other reviewer who complained about mess. They're lazy. This is how record shops should be.

Something for everyone, the lad in there is friendly and fair+fair picked up the Negril album for $7 and Ahmad Jamal for $4 cheapy cheap such a massive library in a small shop...upstairs selection yet to be explored. This shop is what it should be about. Massive range of DVDs CDs too and some memorabilia 10/10

Nice treasure trove of all kinds of movies, TV, and music. Includes rare items. Reasonably priced.

this shop is stacked up to the roof with music and movies, could spend days in there. it's practically impossible to leave with empty hands paid 11 bucks for 3 DVD's, 6 45's and 2 records. i calculated again and it should've been 18!! had a nice chat and was recommended other music and record stores! never left a store this happy and positive :)) 11/10 would recommend everyone
