We visited Pure Vinyl Records on the lookout for old reggae/ska/rocksteady and we weren't disappointed. We found some great records and the shop is run by lovely people who are happy to chat away about music and tell stories about the events they put on for the community. We'll be sure to take a trip to Brixton to PVR any time we're in London in the future.
Pure vinyl is so much more than a record shop, a real community hub, not only do they have a fantastic selection of jazz, reggae, soul and funk but also lots of rarities coming through. Their open deck evenings, charity auctions and in-store sessions always have a great vibe and are proper fixture for Brixton. Highly recommend!

Fact. Place looks nice. New records are over priced you can buy same online even £10 cheaper. Stuff not really has music knowledge if you ask something they checking Discogs. Digging section mostly shelf fillers.
Small but very well stocked store has a lot of reggae and hip hip as well as other genres I found a very rare dubstep record. The people who work there are wonderful
