Pressing Matters Record Shop

A must visit if you're in Hastings, or totally worth the trip if you're not local. The shop has an amazing selection of second-hand vinyl covering all genres, and it’s perfect whether you're hunting for that rare find or looking to grab a handful of affordable treats. The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. Easily one of my favourite spots for vinyl digging. Highly recommended!

What a find! Downstairs inside Printed Matter Bookshop you will find a treasure trove of divine sounds. Really friendly and super knowledgable staff, reasonable prices. You will not leave empty handed! The bookshop also has plenty of goodies to explore with equally lovely staff. A must if you are in the area ✨

This is a great little independent. For books it has a broad range of of lesser known books but you can get all the normal releases . It also has a wide variety of records and over the two floors All sorts of genres, ska , hip hop funk electronica .. with new stock and rereleases it’s always worth checking and it’s cheaper on some records . Lee who sits upstairs is patient and knowledgeable

So many of my most prized OG vinyl has come from this shop. Really friendly and helpful staff. There are Post-it notes that come in handy and a nice reminder of where you got your record from too. Can't leave without finding a key piece for the collection. Highly recommend and well worth the mission if you live outside of Hastings.
