Off The Beaten Tracks is a family-run independent record shop based in the market town of Louth, Lincolnshire. Founded by Mark and Lee, the business began as a market stall in autumn 2003 and opened its first storefront in March 2004. Now located at 8 Aswell Street—their third premises on the same street—the shop has become a cornerstone of the town’s vibrant independent business community.

The store offers a wide-ranging selection of new and quality second-hand vinyl, CDs, DVDs, music books, cassettes, greetings cards, prints, badges, and tote bags. While their website showcases just a portion of their stock, customers are encouraged to get in touch for specific requests, as sourcing items is part of the service.

Off The Beaten Tracks also buys music collections, offering competitive prices for high-quality vinyl and CDs. A proud participant in Record Store Day UK, the shop continues to support music culture both in-store and online via their Discogs page. Local customers in the Louth area benefit from free delivery by selecting Local Pickup at checkout. Gift vouchers are available both in store and online.

Super cool shop. I phoned about 10 minutes before they were due to close, the guy I spoke to was super friendly whilst his colleague legged it round the corner to their storeroom to get the item I was buying. They had it in the post to me within 20 minutes of ordering.
Absolute gem of a record shop. The owner is very friendly and welcoming and good to do business with. I dropped two boxes of records off,and got a good price and everyone was happy. Thank you.
I've popped in a couple of times when I've been back in Lincs to see my parents and it's always great! The staff always seem super friendly and helpful and a good selection of new stuff and bits for cratediggers. Definitely recommend!
Visited for the first time on Saturday 10th August. This is an absolute gem of a shop and I left with an armful of records, including some absolute treasures. It's always a gamble buying old vinyl, but the condition of those I bought is fantastic and the owner was quick to tell me to bring anything back I wasn't happy with. The shop is clearly a popular spot, with friendly, professional and welcoming service, which makes me want to go back whenever I'm back up that way. Thank you for a great experience.
The best record shop I have ever came across. I visit this shop almost every Tuesday, and normally go walking out with my hands full :D. Mark and all the staff here are so warm and friendly and always there to help. I have always been nervous to buy second hand records as alot of the time they are damaged but I've almost never seemed to have a single scratch on my records bought here :). Thank you for the amazing service, I will certainly keep visiting ( ╹▽╹ ).
