Mann Hifi

Looking to replace 40+ year system popped into Mann HiFi. Phil was extremely helpful, his knowledge second to none and came and set up the system. He was a bit surprised at the record collection - not what is expected for OAP's. Couldn't be happier with the system no more TV and thanks again Phil. Will try and find Nine Below Zero cd. Monica

I have just purchased a pair of Dali Oberon 3s and a Mission 778x amplifier from Mann Hi Fi. His customer service was top notch, I auditioned the amp and various speakers and Phil’s advice was really helpful I now have an excellent hi fi at home and I will definitely be purchasing more equipment from Mann Hi Fi. A thoroughly recommended proper hi fi shop !!

Visited Phil looking for complete HiFi set up. Great advice and recommendations. Demo set up. Offered great value for money and delivered free of charge. Great business and a top bloke. Would recommend to anyone for HiFi audio or general home entertainment. You won’t go wrong, I’ll put my hat on it.

If you're considering buying hi-fi equipment online, I highly recommend paying a visit to Mann Hi-Fi before making your decision. After a 20-year hiatus from hi-fi gear, life had taken me on a different path. But recently, I had the chance to listen to a friend's hi-fi setup, and it brought back so many happy memories. That sparked my interest to dive back into the world of high-quality audio. I spent a lot of time researching various speakers and Bluetooth-enabled amplifiers, and during my search, I kept encountering Mann Hi-Fi through positive reviews. Intrigued, I decided to stop by and see what they were all about—and I'm so glad I did. Phil, the owner who assisted me, was outstanding. He patiently walked me through the various bookshelf speakers I was interested in and gave me the time and space to listen to them at my own pace, with absolutely no pressure to make a decision. After a few in-depth discussions (and, I'm sure, some rather tedious questions from me), I decided to try out some floor-standing speakers. After listening to them, I found the pair that I wanted: the Dali Oberon 5 speakers, along with an Audiolab 6000A amplifier. While the amplifier was readily available in-store, the speakers needed to be ordered. I came in on a Friday, and by Tuesday, they were delivered. I was perfectly fine with that turnaround, but Phil went above and beyond. He offered me the shop's demo speakers to take home and enjoy while I waited for my new ones to arrive. Now that's service—something Jeff Bezos definitely can't match! When I returned later in the week to swap out the demo speakers for my new ones, I had another informative chat with Phil and even showed my son around the shop. But the service didn’t stop there. Phil asked if I had considered trying a streaming device. I had never thought it would make much of a difference, but he offered to let me take a WiiM Mini home to try out, free of charge. As soon as I connected it, I could immediately hear the difference—the sound quality of the speakers was elevated to a whole new level. What I thought was superb sound before now had even more depth and clarity. Needless to say, I called Phil to let him know I'd like to keep the streaming device. My experience with Mann Hi-Fi has been exceptional from start to finish, and I can't recommend the shop enough for anyone seeking top-notch hi-fi equipment. A huge thank you to Phil for his incredible service!

So grateful for the advice and expertise of Phil in supporting my new Hifi setup. Through demoing and auditioning each piece of equipment I was able to purchase each item in confidence with Phil’s guidance and support, starting from scratch. Final selection was a Rega Planar 3 Turntable and Elex Mk4 amplifier together with Q Acoustics 5040 floor standing speakers. Phil’s advice on cables was also appreciated to optimise the quality of the kit. Highly recommend Phil and Mannhifi. I’m looking forward to adding additional components to expand the setup.
