This classic record shop offers an extensive selection of vinyl records, CDs, DVDs and other media across various genres and styles. The store layout could benefit from better organization, though the diverse inventory tends to appeal to collectors searching for both new releases and vintage finds. While deals and promotions are regularly featured, customers may want to carefully review the terms and conditions of special offers before making their selections.

Popped in other week looking for the steelbook Lord of the Rings 4K set, the store wasnt laid out very well which made finding stuff extremely difficult, also a lack of staff made this task extremely difficult, not seeing what I was looking for I went to the counter to speak to a member of staff and was ignored for over 5 minutes while two colleagues were staring at a computer screen and ignoring the queue that had formed at the counter, once they had decided to focus on the queue and eventually whittled down the queue I asked if they had it in stock and was given a very unhelpful reply of "you can order it online and get it delivered to store" well if I order it online then I might as well get it delivered to my home, this is why the high street is dying, lack of basic customer service and product availability leads to a lack of trade for brick and mortar stores and more business going to online retailers! Poor show HMV will stick to my local HMV this one is a complete joke
Had all the CD’s I needed, good prices and staff are friendly and welcoming
Like the shop great music dvd s
HMV has long continued to lead the way, in providing an eclectic cultural mix, guaranteed to suit most tastes! The employees are knowledgeable & friendly, and i would like to single out David who works in HMV, the Bournemouth branch, for his courtesy towards me.
We were delighted to find a classic HMV store with lots of records....even better there was a deal on.... If the records were labeled up you could get 2 for £40 or 3 for £55, Clear as day with a white label, so after much deliberation we had made our choices, knowing that we could probably get them cheaper elsewhere we decided to help the high street companies..... Choices of the 3, all labelled up with the correct white labels and prices, took these to the till only to be told that they all had to be the same original price, so 3 at 21.99 or 3 at 23.99 means you'll get them for the £55....but you could not mix their original prices? Nowhere was this stated, it makes no sense and because of this HMV has lost yet another customer along with a sale....we shall not be back.... Disappointed to have wasted 15 minutes in your shop.... Enjoyed the searching of old classics, but gutted in the way she didn't help us at the till....not good customer service at all! It needs stating that you can't mix, as there's all different prices...way too confusing if it has to be the same specification etc
