The vibe is really reminiscent of a lively comic shop, with a great atmosphere that makes you want to explore. They have a fantastic selection of posters and collectibles that catch your eye right away. I was particularly impressed by the variety of music albums and the Star Wars T shirts. You can find really rare things here that you wouldn't find from other comic shops in Birmingham. And the X-Men posters were super cool!
Great store was here on a trip! Rlly nice workers, girl with glasses and fringe helped me figure things out thanks
Amber was fantastic at HMV! She was incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and eager to help. Whether it was finding the perfect vinyl or recommending something new, her passion for music and dedication to customer service stood out. A truly great experience—Amber made the visit memorable. Highly recommend her assistance!
I usually love this place as I'm still a collector of physical media and enjoy browsing here. To be clear, I am older so this kind of place was my temple in the 80s when collecting records and albums were a thing. I was wondering round with my headphones on listening to audible (not at all loud or audible outside of my ears) and giggling at the novelty cups and magnets when I became aware the bloke behind the counter was repeatedly slamming his finger into the counter loudly and when I looked up, he glared dirty looks at me. We locked eyes he unashamedly continued to slam his finger into the counter while glaring. He was being directly rude to me. I felt discriminated against. Was it my age? Gender? For some reason I annoyed him and he wanted me to know it. It sadly put me off handing over my custom so I won't be going there again. Manners cost nothing mate. :(
It's fun to look at the products, lots of choice, variety. Cds, DVDs, Tshirts, Vinyls, and much much more! Very tidy too.
