hmv

Haven't been to an HMV for maybe 20 years, popped in the other day and loved it. Loads of cool stuff and old school goodies at decent prices. How did I not know they started selling this type of stuff. Definitely worth popping in !!

On the whole a good if small store with a smaller range but still some good bargains to be found and some interesting quirky stuff. Unfortunately I found whilst visiting yesterday the staff need some serious disability and Autism awareness training. My Brother who is disabled and has Autism wanted to buy something the assistant snapped at him, was impatient rude and when I objected was faced with the same nasty attitude. My Brother wears a badge and lanyard advising of his conditions and needs extra time and more explanations given slowly. My Brother was very upset and agitated afterwards. It's sad that this happened and ruined a happy afternoon. If only people could see not all disabilities are visible.

A compact hmv store with some great staff. Thanks for all your help, Sarah! Vinyl section is small but well stocked. They still have a few dedicated heavy metal bins which is great to see in a smaller location. First time I've ever been into an hmv and got everything on my wish list in one visit: Sepultura, Lana Del Rey, and Ella Fitzgerald. Score!

A wide selection of DVDs and CDs. Comic book T Shirts. Cheaper than other well known stores. Always friendly staff who are only too willing to help and give advice. It's a pity this company is under threat of closure. As l always enjoy shopping in their stores.
