I was very impressed with Discovery music. I started browsing the records and noticed the incredible selection of progressive rock albums. I then asked for what they had from Camel and the owner showed me a selection of something like approximately 10 different albums. Impressive
Absolutely awesome record shop. Amazing selection of vinyl - both in terms of the amount and titles/genres. Also a good selection of CD’s too. My first time shopping here and the owner was friendly and knowledgeable. Deffo coming back here on my own so I can spend all day!!
Definetly have to agree with previous reviews. First visit, taken there by my daughter who now lives local & will be going regular when visiting. We chose an ecclectic mix, we had some good advice & help from Matt searching his massive stock of records, coming away with 11 albums. Having had chance to play them now, we are so pleased with our choices & the quality of the records. Thanks again Matt Gary
Great selection of vinyl, I could have spent a fortune. Knocked 1 star off purely because it's a small shop and you couldn't fit to many people in to browse.
One of the best record shops around, always visit when on holiday and always come out with half a dozen records. A lot of hard to find stuff and prices generally good. If in Barnastaple you must visit if you are into vinyl, and make sure you visit first before the other record shop in town, always find discovery friendlier, cheaper and much better quality. As well as having a much bigger selection.
