Only spoke to Alan for first time today I needed a first press album cleaning up as it popped and crackled so was only asking for any contacts he may have who does ultra sonic cleaning. He didn’t know any local but suggested I bring it to his shop and he put it on his in his cleaner which is on shop counter, so it was cleaned played in the shop within minutes by liv and the results were amazing truly worth a visit this little gem of a shop I couldn’t praise it enough so happy right now thanks Alan and liv
What a gem of a place!! Visited this afternoon for my first time at any record store. Such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Allan was so helpful and offered suggestions for music to try out based on my purchases. Plentiful selection of records for sale including impressive collectible items too. Will 100% be visiting again in the not too distant future!! Definitely worth a visit.
Popped in yesterday to get a last minute Christmas gift, what a wonderful, welcoming shop. Tons of choice, led by friendly, knowledgeable staff. No snobbery about music genres, just a genuine vinyl enthusiast with a great shop. I can see this becoming a regular haunt
Fantastic place, good variety of music available as well as videos and other retro items. Have always felt welcomed and was once given a coffee and a go on the atari! Has a lot of decoration and character so its great that they have made use of the old bookshop cafe.
Excellent service went above and beyond for me today. I was looking for a 70year old record iv been searching for for months with no luck. I have only 8 days left to find for a birthday present. I contacted through text messages it being Bank holiday , i didnt even expected a reply i got a reply and they checked in the shop and they didn't have it in but still went out the way to help me and even search for me online. I got the record and will receive it in time to make my friend very happy. They made no money from helping me but I think your amazing thank you. I know we're to come straight too in the future
