Had a trip out to Christchurch today.... Stumbled across this little Gem... Having forgotten to bring any music with us for our 'week in a van'... We were lucky to pick up the New Father John Misty album which has been on my list since the release a couple of days.... Our daughter chose an absolute Country disc, which we will have to endure soon The chap that served us was great, knowledgeable and nice to chat to... Hard to leave the shop really!! Our trip in the van is far more livelier with our new disc. Thanks a bunch
Don't really buy alot if new vinyl, but the second hand stuff this shop has are really good and sometimes out of nowhere really decently priced, all the people I've met in there are are lovely, know there stuff, and in general decent people. Came to the record club wich comes round monthly wich was really cool and interesting. If your looking for singles this is the place and overall a solid and Brill shop.
Small record store in the heart of Christchurch. Great selection at competitive prices. Staff happy to chat and will accept orders for products not in stock.
By far and away the best range of music in a record shop that we've found. It really encompassed our joint (very eclectic) music tastes. The guy in the store also demonstrated an incredibly wide interest in music, was very chatty and open minded to most genres/artists. Although we live an hour+ away, we will be back for sure.
Brilliant shop, popped in as I was on holiday in the area, had a look round and it had a decently vast range of genres and artists. Friendly owner who we had a good chat with. The only thing they didnt seem to have much of when I went in was UK garage but maybe i overlooked some or someone had got to it before me! Definitely reccomend, Lovely place.
