my wife and i discovered this wonderful record shop on a lazy sunday. we were looking for a coffee, which is also offered there, the coffee is fantastic and made with love. we could sit in his small, but beautiful backyard and we chatted with the so nice and friendly owner about music and life. for my taste of music this is a very very good record shop! he put on reflections by gil scott heron, which was a great choice. if you love records and good coffee, this is the place to go in brighton. thank you for your kindness!

What an absolute gem of a place! Buzzing with knowledge and creative energy! When I arrived I quietly snuggled in with a coffee to enjoy and observe whilst I built up the confidence to ask for album recommendations. I was met with a smile, a listening ear and a wealth of knowledge and suggestions. I settled on this fab album. I will be returning on many occasions and I highly recommend to anyone in the local community or visiting this lovely part of the world. Well done Team Capsule Records you’ve created a very welcoming and warm community and space to enjoy beautiful music.

Went for vinyl and got a lot more… local DJ playing great music (through the silky sound system), had an excellent flat white, browsed the very well curated vinyl and books on offer. Excellent staff on hand to help and enjoy the vibes with!

Went in for a browse and man is this place cool; record store in the front, coffee bar in the back. Every record has a QR code so if you’re not sure, you can scan it, go sit down, and read up about it. We met the owner and had a great chat, will definitely be back soon and look forward to record store day.

A beautiful and well stocked new vinyl store. As a Jazz fan I was well catered for, all the usual classics and plenty of more unusual additions to keep your interest. Thanks for all your help.
