Reviews
Great shop with a good selection of new and preloved vinyl records and CDs. Also some nice electric and acoustic guitars. They also stock ukuleles strings leads and other music related items. Found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The previous reviews seem a bit strange, maybe got confused with the other shop that was 2 doors down, now closed (wonder why} Worth a visit if you are in wonderful Bridport.
Strongly agree with previous post. I felt as though I was in the Monty Python argument sketch. This would have been fine had he been well informed and able to make coherent arguments. Also, do check the albums very carefully before you buy. Friends in my group spent good money on unplayable vinyl. Good selection but very over priced. Look elsewhere for quality and good price.
Very friendly, they helped me with selling a few of my guitars
Great selection of records, most of the staff very friendly. Would score higher, but presumably, the owner of the store made my 11 year old daughter very upset by telling her how awful Taylor Swift was and how she should like music that "makes her think" more. He made her feel stupid and sad. Typical elite muso snobbery that is not welcome, or fair when talking to an 11 year old!!!! At least she is buying vinyl with her pocket money! I'm sure he bought some embarrassing rubbish when he was 11 (but probably wont admit to it, because he was only into edgy prog and underground reggae from birth). Maybe this will prevent him from being rude to the next child that walks in.
Fab shop - quirky with a great vibe. I just dropped in on the off chance that I might find a guitar case. Great service, found a suitable case, and headed on my way with a resolve to allow more time for my next drop in, so I can browse the vinyl and CDs. If there were more shops like this, the high streets wouldn't be dying. Recommended
