An absolute must for any music heads in or passing through Glasgow! Great range of vinyl, awesome prints and T-shirt’s as well as some pretty cool guitars. I was welcomed by the owner, Tony, who was an absolute gent with an extensive knowledge on the punk and Glasgow indie music scene. The passion he has for music is instantly recognisable from both the shop and his personality. Highly recommend!
My favourite shop in Glasgow. Great owner, unbeatable prices and unique guitars. Just an overall awesome place! A must for music fans of any sort.
After searching online for a specific album I was very pleased to find it in Blitzkrieg. The price was very competitive and the store owner engaged in a passionate discussion about the artist which was very welcomed.
It is encouraging that the experience wasn't simply about shifting product.
This purchase was then the catalyst for a good 30 minute rambling old school discussion on music that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Other than albums and singles for sale there is also plenty of art and memorabilia to peruse.
I can see this store in its new location being a huge success. A comfortable five star review.
Absolutely brilliant, went along to help out with my girlfriends uni interview and shop owner was very helpful, polite and informative. Doing amazing things with the local music scene and wider. Shop was full of amazing vinyl, CDs, prints, guitars and amazing stories, will definitely find myself becoming a regular here. Amazing people, amazing, service and amazing knowledge. 10/10
Wow what a place! Blitzkrieg is more than just a record shop, it's a real treasure trove of music memorabilia and unique musical rarities. It's a must visit for music fans, especially if you're into punk and indie. Tony is an absolute legend and does loads to support the local music scene and is great to chat to about music. Will definitely be back.
