First time visit to Ben's Collector's Records, as I don't live on the door step. There is such a lovely atmosphere in this shop, we need more unique shops like this on the high street. Ben and his team were extremely helpful and friendly finding a particular composer. I spent the majority of the afternoon in there. Didn't get round all the Vinyl, CD's and tapes. I highly recommend to those near and far away, and will be returning again soon. What a gem of a shop, absolutely love my purchases today, thank you very much Ben.
I could spend all day in the shop, it is a treasure strove of record vinyls back in the day..amazing. Ben has great knowledge on records and music. Great customer service and friendly to talk too.
My favourite record shop. Ben is a legendary figure, what he does not know about music you could sing about in a 2 second song. Always plenty of music in and stock turns over fast. A nice blend of new and second hand offerings with everything from Blues, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Indie and pretty much everything else you can think of. Always a smile on his face and a story to tell Ben is the man to sell you a record, CD, or tape. If you love yoru music this is a little treasure trove... On my most recent visit when I definitely was not going to buy anything I left with 2 x new and sealed LPs £5 each + 2 new and sealed for £15 each. Where else can you get value like that? Thanks!
I've just read through quite a few of the reviews and following my visit with my husband Angelo I can confirm it's all true! - Amazing shop, fair prices and a warm welcome and great chat with the very enthusiastic and knowledgable Ben. We hope to visit again in the not too distant future.
