Reviews

A nice record shop with a good selection of many different music genres; rock, metal, soul, punk and indie. The staff are very friendly and helpful but the prices could be better and maybe on the cheaper side, however cool shop!
We made a couple of trips here last week including a record signing event. These stores are very bright and quite spacious. For me there weren't enough Hard Rock and Metal spaces but they did hold a wide range of musical tastes. There were a few signed and sealed LPs in amongst the shelves too. It is a very clean and modern environment compared to my favourite music stores. Easy to locate, a nightmare to park anywhere near during peak hours. Nice staff and a warm welcome.
I’ve now been to two of the three Assai stores (the other being Glasgow). Great selection of records across genres, and the manager very kindly kept me an Assai edition copy of the new Doves album, that wasn’t available on the day I visited, which I collected in person on my second visit a couple of days later.
Came here for the Røry meet and greet and the staff were absolutely brilliant. Very helpful and calm, even though everyone was bursting at the seams for this event. Will definitely be back
Great store and staff! Went today to get a couple taylor vinyls i was missing as my token from the Eras Tour this weekend and they has such a great selection, Taylor decorations and music playing and the staff was super lovely - will be back when I’m in Edinburgh
