Went in the other day and once again didn’t disappoint. Absolutely love looking through the second hand section for amazing gems, found some of my favourite pieces here. The owner is always extremely helpful and very kind. One of my favourite record shops of all time.
Adore this shop, prices are in line with other retailers. 2nd hand section is ecletic and fun to browse in (though may rethink the Leo Sayer i wont lie). As much as I want to give 1 star, simply for having yet more War on Drugs albums for him to bring home, he did in fact get me one of these fantastic t-shirts to soften the blow. I did a Google search for record stores close to my friends home near Crew. I was delighted to see Applestump Records was only ten minutes from her home. The shop is a little tucked away and I was struggling to find it as I'm not familiar with Nantwitch but a quick phone call gave me directions and the proprietor came out in the pouring rain to meet us. I had gone in search of some record cases to transport and store my LP collection in and I am delighted with the cases I bought. I hope to be relocated to the area in the not too distant future and I'm sure Applestump will be seeing a lot more of me.
