Shop is amazing with some really killer records. I was in town on holiday and appreciate local section, as I wanted to get some records I couldn't back home. This one caught my eye, and the folks there talked me into getting a second record after giving me more info on this band. Man am I glad I listened! This is a great band I would not have found otherwise.
Dave and Antony are awesome, I was looking for something from Pest Control. Unfortunately, they were fresh out, but I asked if they had recommendations from some UK bands, and both were dope! I love this shop, truly a gem. They have tons of Record and CDs. 10/10
The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable. After going to several different record stores, he was the one who knew the most about the band I was looking for, Refused, and he even told me so much about the frontman that I never knew before, recommending me his other bands. Every other place just said that Refused broke up and was hard to find, and left it at that. This was also the first place I found to actually be carrying one of their albums! Unfortunately I'm not sure when I'll be able to come back, but I do hope to visit again someday.
We flew all across Europe to find records that we cannot find in our home country. We had some records shop to look throughout our stay in London, but the winner of them all is undoubtedly All Ages Records ! A DIY made shop, in the pure essence of punk, down in Camden Town. A HUUUUUUGE collection with every pearl of Post HxC, Metalcore, Rock-Alt etc that you can dream of. Like Coretex Records in Berlin but WAY BETTER. The records are really well exposed, the navigation through the different records row is really easy and pleasant, all records are protected in sleeves and has labels with the band and record names, the specification of the vinyl (coloured or not, limited press etc) and similar bands if you want to land an ear on a record that you do not know yet. The owners are really cool guys, the conversation with them was delightful : they tuned us on the cool places to go in Camden, to have a drink, the cool venues etc. We will definitively go back to this shop when we will return to London and keep on spreading the word about it!
One of the best record shops I've visited. Excellent selection, especially for hardcore punk. Very solid metal selection, too. I could have easily spent hundreds. A must visit if you like your punk and metal.
